Community Comic Poster Project

This workshop is presented by artist Joanne Hui as a documentation of the participants
and attendees of the opening reception of Haida Manga Reading Room + Comic Jam
Studio. Accompanied by a professional photographer, Joanne Hui will be taking
headshots of consenting participants at the gallery which will later be formulated into
multiple cartoon panels laid out into a poster format of drawings created by Joanne. The
final product from this workshop will be a community portrait drawn by Joanne Hui
based on the headshots from the opening reception at Gendai Gallery.
