BAGART-Birdhead Affordable Game

In Nov 2009, Gendai partnered with Art Metropole and signed a one year contract with Birdhead to share the role as local representative for the BAGART project in Toronto. In the course of this contract year, Art Metropole will be the sole agent for BAGART sales in the Toronto area and Gendai will be responsible for facilitating installation and documenting the process of the BAGART project.

ARTsu MATsuRI

Annual art exhibition & sale of works at Gendai Gallery Co-presented by Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre (JCCC) & Gendai Gallery In conjunction with the NATSU MATSURI (Summer Festival) at the JCCC As a celebration of art, artists and community, the Gendai Gallery and the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre is pleased to present ARTsu MATSURI, a salon-style art exhibition and sale of works. This community fundraising event brings together the artworks of the Asian Canadian community and beyond, with performances, music and food to accompany the opening festivities.
